Fury comes and goes just as rumors do. Storms brewing with forecasts that go unseen. A rumbling earthquake I never saw coming until it was too late. Raining tears of pain evolve into cries of thunder and shrieks of lightning rage within my sky. What does each new deluge bring about? Why are we not taught how to prepare? The erupting rumors leave daggers within my spine. The jagged lies are pulled out to reveal holes. Holes in my relationships, holes in my bedroom walls, holes in the filter that stop the things I say. My words are sharp, my reasoning is dull. Rage fogs over my conscience and clouds my inner thoughts. Electric lines of friendship are snapped in the winds of argument, sparking power surges of unintentional roars and crackling speech.
